Bluestone is a natural sandstone. Mostly in blue-grey colors with naturally occurring color deposits such as purple, green, brown, yellow etc.

Bluestone usually offered in 2 different color selections; full range and, blue select. While full range includes all of the color variations mentioned above, blue select includes only grey and blue tones.

Bluestone is mostly quarried in Pennsylvania. Most bluestone quarries are pretty much in the same 2mile radius area. There are fabricators and wholesalers of bluestone outside of the quarry area as well. You will hear it called New York and Connecticut bluestone. It’s all the same beautiful natural stone.

Bluestone has great qualities for and exterior yards ape material. It’s Angeles color goes well with most modern designs. It can offer larger format tiles and variety of sizes.
